'The Voice,' which is presently in its first season, has by now been labeled a ratings hit by NBC. The show has been a constant player in the 18-49 space, transporting numbers NBC hasn't understood in a while.
Screening faith in 'The Voice,' NBC has set the singing competition the post-Super Bowl niche on Sun., Feb. 5.
"There is no improved showcase on television than to trail the Super Bowl, and we trust 'The Voice' is worthy of such high-profile exposure," Bob Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment, whispered in a statement. "The attention grasping blind tryout phase of 'The Voice' has mass appeal and will appropriately team up with the biggest sporting event of the year."
The network hasn't yet publicized whether that post-Super Bowl period will be the premiere of Season 2 or not.
